The Hit Factory was a recording studio in New York City famous for its clientele classic recordings by hip-hop artists Jay-Z, the Notorious BIG, Mase, rock-n-roll and soul greats John Lennon, Stevie Wonder, Bruce Springsteen, Jimi Hendrix, Billy Joel, and Madonna. In 2005 the prestigious recording studio was converted into a condominium complex.
